Pepsi-Cola Phone This is a Quality vintage wall Telephone from the USA, Superbly made in the likeness of an old Pepsi-Soda vending Machine, with Blue plastic Body, a Creme enamelled segment at top with large Pepsi logo central, that optionally flashes when ringing, various Product detailing, and a Handset with Blue coil cable, Coin, Bottle dispenser etc highting, and Push button digits to the underside, for Tone or Pulse dialing. It has been used but is nevertheless in Excellent condition, with no structural Damage. Handset, Ringer, Light etc are all working Perfectly. Surfaces show light friction and dirt, and a tiny scratch and bump or 2, as expected, with some paint flecks to the Creme segment. Buttons, Cords and fittings are Excellent, although the plug has lost its locking tag, and the 1 button shows friction, mentioned only for accuracy. The phone measures approx 350mm x 210mm (13 1/2" x 8 1/4"). Beside Pepsi trademarks at front and a serial number at rear, there are no apparent maker's marks but the Phone is most likely of American origin, from the 1970's or thereabout. This is a Beautifully made and finished Telephone, a superb likeness of a mid 1900's Pepsi vending Machine, and albeit hardly in Mint condition, working Perfectly, and would make a Fine addition to any serious collection of vintage novelty Telephones, or Softdrink or Pepsi memorabilia, so Please bid accordingly.
