This fine piece was made by the Lawrence Manufacturing Company of Chicago. You insert the coin in the slot below the item that you want and push the big button in the middle. If the item is out it gives you back your penny. I have tested it and it appears to work fine. It even has the key for the lock. To gain access you use the key and remove the front section as shown in the photos. The back and sides is metal and the front is aluminum. It even has rubber suction feet on the bottom.
